1835 25C B-2, R.2, AU58 NGC. Tompkins Die State 3/1. Autumn-brown luster fills the design elements. The fields and high points are gunmetal-gray. Liberty's forehead and shoulder curl exhibit slight wear, but marks are few and inconsequential. Eight die marriages are known for the 1835 quarter, and only B-3 and B-8 qualify as very scarce.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23S2, Variety PCGS# 38998, Base PCGS# 5354, GSID# 212971)
