Remarkable Terminal Die State; Tompkins 7/4
1836 25C B-2, R.2, MS62 PCGS. Tompkins Die State 7/4,
terminal. The B-2 is common in die marriages, but the plethora of
eye-catching die states make this a remarkable pairing. In this
terminal state, both dies are shattered, and heavy clash marks
appear at Liberty's ear. The strike is sharp in the centers but
incomplete on several peripheral stars. Lovely lavender-gold,
mint-green, and blue-gray hues adorn the satiny surfaces.Ex: Dallas Signature (Heritage, 12/2017), lot 3644.
