Advanced Die State
1836 25C B-3, R.1, MS62 PCGS. Tompkins Die State 5/4, nearly
terminal -- both dies are shattered, although the obverse is known
in a slightly later stage before this pairing was retired. This
Mint State Capped Bust type coin displays subtle luster beneath
champagne and amber toning. The right-hand stars are weak, but the
central devices display bold definition. Scattered abrasions limit
