Description

1838 Bust Quarter, MS62
B-1, Minimal Marks

1838 25C B-1, R.1, MS62 PCGS. B-1 is the final Capped Bust quarter die variety, though half dollars of the design were coined into 1839. This sea-green and golden-brown representative is satiny and only lightly abraded. The eagle and portrait are well struck, but a few stars show incompleteness. An opportunity for the advanced silver type collector.
