Description
1838 25C MS61 NGC. B-1, the only known dies, R.1. This final-year example is suitably well frosted for the grade beneath warm lavender-gray, gold, and blue toning. Liberty's portrait and the eagle are boldly impressed, a small toning spot at 5 o'clock on the reverse border is the only singularly mentionable distraction.
