Description

1834 Quarter Dollar, B-4, MS62
Elusive CAC Endorsement

1834 25C B-4, R.1, MS62 PCGS Secure. CAC. Tompkins Die State 3/4. Heavy die cracks appear in the reverse margins as normal for this plentiful variety. The 1834 Capped Bust quarter is popular as a type coin. This CAC-approved example is especially pleasing for the grade. Although several border stars are weak, the central devices are sharp and satiny luster prevails on each side. Dappled olive-gray and golden toning covers the surfaces.
