    Description

    1868 Round 50 Cent, Reflective BG-1074, MS65+

1868 50C Indian Round 50 Cents, BG-1074, R.6, MS65+ PCGS. This prooflike yellow-gold Period Two round half dollar, issued by Christopher Ferdinand Mohrig, shows a better strike through the denomination on the reverse than most survivors, to the point that we would nearly describe it as clear. The minimal few thin scrapes showing on the obverse are in complete accord with the high grade. Population: 3 in 65 (2 in 65+), 1 finer (12/14). (NGC ID# 2C2S, PCGS# 10903)
