1870 25C Liberty Round 25 Cents, BG-835A, R.7, AU58 PCGS. The obverse of BG-835 is muled with the reverse of BG-834. An extremely rare variety; the second edition of Breen-Gillio lists a mere five survivors. This is the plate coin in that reference, and is also from the legendary collection of Jay Roe. A nicely struck slider that has extensive remaining prooflike luster.
