Description

    1872 50C Indian Octagonal 50 Cents, BG-940, R.5, MS63 PCGS. The coin has a lengthy crack (as struck) at 6 o'clock on the obverse that is identical on both sides. There is a heavy die crack (as struck) at 10 o'clock on the obverse. Portions of the reverse are not sharply struck, especially where opposite of the large, high relief stars on the obverse. The surfaces are pleasingly free from noticeable abrasions.
