Description
1875 25C Indian Round 25 Cents, BG-847, R.4, MS65 NGC. BG-847 has two distinctly different appearances, which are better photographed and explained in the 9/2003 Jay Roe auction than in the second edition of Breen-Gillio. The present coin is the Large Letters variant of BG-847, and is a lovely sun-gold Gem with moderately reflective fields and a bold, even strike.
