Description1876/5 $1 Indian Octagonal 1 Dollar, BG-1129, R.4 MS62 PCGS. From the same dies as BG-1127 and BG-1128, but now the 5 in the date has been crudely altered to a 6, and a berry precedes the wreath bow. The prooflike fields have radiant apricot color, while the highpoints of the obverse have lilac patina. The left obverse field has a lintmark (as made) and a short pinscratch near the Indian's mouth.
