Description

Ang Duong 1/8 Tical (Fuang) ND (1847) AU58 NGC, KM33, Daniel-75 (R5). Mintage: 20,000. A stunning piece of history, this rarity was issued during the year Siam and Vietnam signed the peace treaty allowing Cambodia to gain independence in 1848. Ashy tones reveal iridescent cobalt and amber when in motion, only accentuating the gorgeous detail of the Hamsa bird (obverse) and façade of the Palace of Angkor (reverse).
