Elizabeth II Mint Error - Struck on 1977 25 Cents Cent 1978 MS64 PCGS, Royal Canadian mint, cf. KM59.2 (for type). Another fantastic near-Gem specimen offered in this sale that will continue to garner attention through its more elite preservation and endlessly fascinating Mint Error. As previously mentioned, a MS63 of the similar type (1973 date) hammered for $5,500 (Heritage Auction 61536, August 2025, Lot 22138) earlier this year.
