Mint Error. Elizabeth II Dollar 1976, Incomplete curved clip. MS60 NGC. Prior to coin blanks being struck, they are punched from a rolled metal sheet. Occasionally, this process may mis-punch the blanks, removing or impressing a circular part on the blank. This example survived the secondary cut, and was subsequently struck and released.
