Description

Victoria 5 Cents 1871/1 MS65 PCGS, London mint, KM2. An unlisted overdate, this small, yet impactful selection displays semi-prooflike fields filled with subtle champagne iridescence and swirls of turquoise and magenta that decorate the legends. The Queen's portrait and reverse design are delicately frosted in comparison to the surrounding flash, and gem detailing is confirmed throughout the raised portions. Currently the only example certified as an overdate, making it a must for the collectors of obscure Canadian varieties.
