Description
Singular MS66 Red 1887 Victoria One Cent
Victoria Cent 1887, KM7, MS66 Red PCGS. Out of 1.5 million pieces struck, this is the sole highest-graded example certified by PCGS (7/09); not only is it the lone survivor awarded the MS66 designation by that service, but it retains fully Red surfaces, actually rich copper-gold and orange with peach overtones. Victoria's hair is finely wrought. Scattered small marks and tiny isolated areas of deeper color are visible on either side. A leading Canadian dealer had this to say about this piece, "It is the finest Victoria Cent, of any date, that I have ever seen."In sum, a rare opportunity to obtain a fantastic representative--the finest the issue has to offer. From the Canadiana Collection
