Description

Gorgeous Toned Gem 1881-H 25 Cent

Victoria Specimen 25 Cents 1881-H SP66 PCGS, Heaton mint, KM5. Highly reflective and toned in very collector-friendly shades throughout, with bright blue and blue-green patina taking primary prominence and compliments of orange-gold and mauve adding to overall color spectrum. Currently, the second finest graded of only four certified by PCGS and NGC, and the only example we have seen offered publicly, its last sale coming in our January 2006 auction where it realized $16,100. Given its nearly decade absence from the auction spotlight, we can only expect the fiercest competition for the right to own this staggering beauty.
