Description

One of the Two Finest Certified by PCGS

George VI Specimen Dollar 1947-Blunt 7, KM37, Specimen 68 PCGS. Simply superb; the surfaces are bright with just a touch of russet tone as the eye approaches the rims. The devices present a light cameo and the obverse fields appear velvety with mirror-like brightness visible in the depths of the design. The reverse fields are more reflective and exhibit tone only along the tops of the rims. This date and variety are rarely seen as a Specimen. This example is one of the two finest certified by PCGS with a lone specimen graded SP68 by NGC.
