Probably Finest Known Hunterstown Token

Province of Canada.  Hunterstown Token 1852, Br-567 XF45 Brown NGC, MT-4, 4.85 gm. Medium brown tone, probably the finest known.

The Hunterstown Lumber Co., a company located on the Riviere du Loup in Canada East (now Quebec), produced a farthing-size token to pay part of their employees' wages. The tokens could be used at the company store. They are quite rare today and are usually found in lower grades.
