Description

George V 5 Cents 1921 XF45 PCGS, Ottawa mint, KM22a. Fewer than 500 1921 5 Cent pieces are presumed to exist today due to the reserve and melting of the majority of the original mintage of 2,582,495. A famous rarity thus, this example has received an above-average certification for the type of XF45, commensurate with the high degree of remaining detail, particularly on George's portrait. With much residual luster and toned a light gold in the peripheries, this is a truly elite offering of the Canadian numismatic series.
