    Description

1937 1C Five-Piece Proof Set, PR63 to PR65 PCGS. All five pieces are PCGS-certified and sequentially numbered. Included are:

Cent PR65 Red and Brown. Almost completely Red, the Brown consists of a dab of lilac on the right side of the obverse.

Nickel PR65. Beautiful iridescent toning is seen over each side with highly reflective proof mirrors in the fields.

Dime PR63. Pale toning can be seen on each side. A couple of shallow marks in the left obverse field define the grade.

Quarter PR65. Pale oil-slick iridescence is nearly obscured by the mirror-like reflectivity in the fields.

Half Dollar PR64. Pale golden toning is mostly seen around the left-hand obverse rim. Exceptional quality for the grade.

The outcome of the auction far exceeded my best hopes and would not likely have been as successful with out your sound advice on where to present the coin and how best to set the reserve. Throughout the process your availability , support and knowledge were exceptional.
