British Colony. Victoria silver Proof 1/2 Cent 1891-(c) PR65 PCGS, Calcutta mint, KM91a, Prid-228b. A thoroughly pleasing rendition of this off-metal striking, showcasing both conditional and aesthetic superiority. Likely struck for presentation purposes, with a handful of original sets seen at market in recent decades, the piece relays ample reflectivity and a covetable polychrome patina that is among the finest witnessed on the fleeting silver strikings. One of just four currently certified between both grading services, and the sole finest, and certainly a prime target for the British colonial specialist.
