Description
Carlos IV 8 Reales 1790-DA, KM39, toned XF-AU, extremely bold design details including a full deep PLUS ULTRA. The patina is a pleasing medium charcoal gray and completely original. The only defects include a few small peck marks in the obverse fields and a light scrape in the coat of arms. An attractive example of this transitional type featuring the bust of Carlos III.From the Besalú Collection.
