    Description

Charles III gold 8 Escudos 1762 So-J AU55 NGC, Santiago mint, KM20, Onza-901. With deeply patinated surfaces and russet color nestled throughout the legends, this large gold issue presents bold legends and slightly weaker centers, all of which are commensurate with the issue. The outlying fields are rather pleasing, with few marks noted for the assigned grade, and instances of mint bloom surprise the eye upon rotation. Most appealing in this mildly circulated state of preservation, and as such, a choice representative of this elusive type.
