    Description

Ferdinand VI gold 4 Escudos 1750/5 So-J MS62 NGC, Santiago mint, KM2, Fr-6. With a clear overdate and highly lustrous surfaces, this exceptional piece commands a great deal of attention. Some striking weakness on Ferdinand's face and chest, as well as on the shield and crown, is evident, though wholly typical for the type. The degree of brilliance which still remains, however, is not nearly as often found and assuredly sets this coin out from many others.
