Description
Gold Rectangular 1 Tael Ingot ND (probably pre-Republic), 37.55 gm, 27 x 21 x 3, fully rectangular with a blank reverse. The obverse has a large central Chinese character, with four smaller characters above and three very small characters to the right. Stamped 0998 which may be the fineness. Ex: Abner Kreisberg-Hans M.F. Schulman, Tenth Anniversary auction, April 6, 7, and 8, 1967, Lot 268. The original lot envelope is included.More information about Chinese Coins.
