Silky Full Gem 1911 Dollar

Hsüan-t'ung Dollar Year 3 (1911) MS65+ NGC, Tientsin mint, KM-Y31, L&M-37, Kann-227, no dot after "DOLLAR," but with extra flame. Among the final Qing Dollar issues and equal to the occasion as the profusion of luster is only the tip of the iceberg on this specimen with its cornucopia of majestic attributes. The glistening surfaces host meticulously preserved devices, with seemingly every scale on the dragon surviving without wear. Fewer than 1% of examples seen at NGC and PCGS grade higher than this eye-popping specimen. We anticipate that bidders who actively enjoy their collections will watch this lot carefully.
