Qing Dynasty "Great Peace" Cash Charm ND (1644-1912) Certified 82 by Gong Bo Grading, Shaanxi mint, FD-2583. 52.9x2.5mm. 37.1gm. Obverse: "Tai Ping Zhong Bao", Reverse: "Bao Shan Qian Ju". We were unable to locate past auction records of this seemingly very rare large-size "Great Peace" Charm produced at the Shaanxi mint. Unlisted in Zheng's "Classic Chinese Charms" works but a pictured reference can be found in Fisher's Ding. The surfaces of this piece are smooth and the characters were well-cast. A very intriguing offering for the Chinese Charm specialist.

1644-1912年清代寳陝錢局 太平重寶花錢壹文。公博評級美82。
寶陝錢局。52.9x2.5毫米。37.1克。正面﹕「太平重寶」，背面﹕「寶陝錢局」。這枚大型的「太平重寶」出自寶陝錢局，敝司未能找到相關之拍賣記錄，可見其稀罕萬分。此幣未見於鄭鐵偉之《中國花錢圖鑑》，但在丁福保《歷代古錢圖說》中則可找到相關圖例。幣面油亮明淨，銘文鑄工天衣無縫，對中國花錢收藏家而言實為趣味無窮的一例。
