Description

Qing Dynasty. Wen Zong (Xian Feng) 1000 Cash ND (May-August 1854) Certified 80(03) by Gong Bo Grading, Prince Qing Hui mint, Hartill-22.721, FD-2436, 59.5mm. 79.7gm. Variety with "sun and moon" marks on reverse. An ever-popular type, and to see two in the same auction is nearly unheard of, especially considering the production of the entire series is limited to just a few months. Light porosity and verdigris decorate the piece on offer, which remains an impressive relic of Xian Feng's reign.
