Republic Li Yuan-hung Dollar ND (1912) MS64 PCGS, Wuchang mint, KM-Y321, L&M-45, Kann-639. Incredibly visually appealing, featuring a deeply metallic toning palette that catches hints of iridescent color, particularly as it lightens on the reverse. Whereas the coinage of Li Yuan-hung, like many of the portrait types of the Republican series, frequently comes unevenly struck and with numerous elements of the design under-expressed, the coin on offer here shows even the smallest details of the President's hair and uniform in full detail with well-cut legends and no clear evidence of die deterioration.
