Description

Warring States. State of Qi "Five Character" Knife Money ND (400-220 BC) Certified 80(03) by Gong Bo Grading, Hartill-4.1, FD-356. 186x4.4mm. 48.4gm. Obverse: An Yang Zhi Fa Hua (An Yang's Legal Money). Reverse: Che. Another captivating representative from An Yang, surprising to see so many examples in this very sale when having handled only a single other previously, that being a more common "Three Character" type. The detailing is fully evident, a likely result of an advanced preservation, and imbued with an altogether pleasing earthen patina.

Metal: Bronze
Diameter: 25mm
