Warring States. State of Qi "Five Character" Knife Money ND (400-220 BC) Certified 82 by Gong Bo Grading, Hartill-4.1, FD-356. 181x3.9mm. 40.6gm. Obverse: An Yang Zhi Fa Hua (An Yang's Legal Money). A more elusive type according to our auction records, having sold only a single other "Five Character" type previously, in that instance originating from Jimo in the eastern part of the kingdom. Stunningly preserved and blessed with a gentle verdigris dusting, with all obverse characters fully legible.
