    Description

    Fengtien. Kuang-hsü Dollar Year 24 (1898) MS61 PCGS, KM-Y87, L&M-471. Narrow-mouthed dragon variety. A lustrous example of this issue and very rare in Mint State despite the profusion of tiny handling marks accounting for the grade. Bright silver colored overall, with some mottled russet tone in areas that deepens into subtle iridescence closer to the rims. 1898 was the second year Fengtien Province produced coins and the first year it denominated its coins as Yuan rather than using the Kuping Mace/Candareen standard, although that standard would again be used beginning again in 1903.

    光緒二十四年（1898年）奉天機器局造一圓銀幣。MS61 PCGS， 窄嘴龍版。這發行中出眾的一枚，深打，光澤飽滿，整體細節清晰，龍鱗飽滿，罕見的原廠狀態，儘管微小痕跡限制了評級。整體呈明亮的銀色，有一些斑駁的赤褐色包漿，在邊緣位置更為深色。1898年是奉天省第二年生產硬幣的年份，第一年是以圓為單位，而不是使用庫平錢／分為單位，雖然庫平錢／分在1903年再次開始使用。罕見的品種。
