Brilliant Mint State Rarity of Fengtien
Fengtien. Kuang-hsü Dollar Year 24 (1898) MS62 NGC, Fengtien
mint, KM-Y87, L&M-471, Kann-244, WS-0583. Narrow mouth, pointed
"one" variety. A seldom seen and always coveted issue and one of
the more instantly recognizable dragon Dollars from the provincial
series, boasting a visually fascinating layout. Blessed with
impeccable precision throughout and enlivened by a radiant mint
glow, the current offering stuns when viewed in-hand. Gentle amber
and mottled lavender tones abound this near-Choice example, fully
elevating it above comparable assignments, which will surely pique
