Extremely Rare Brass Pattern "Junk" Mule
Republic. Sun Yat-sen brass Pattern "Birds Under Junk" Dollar 1929/1932 MS64 NGC, Obverse of Kann-614 with date Year 18 (1929) and reverse of Kann-628 reading "Gold Standard Currency One Yuan." Sharply struck, with scattered russet toning over lustrous surfaces. Only a few minor marks are noted. An extremely rare mule of these two pattern issues and the only example we have seen.More information about Chinese Coins. See also: China World Coin Nationality.

民國十八年（1929）孫中山像背金本位幣壹圓銅樣幣。MS64 NGC。 正面中央為孫中山側面像，背面中央雙帆船，海面波濤起伏，東方旭日初升，空中翱翔三隻海鷗。標準壹圓金幣。紅褐色包漿，光澤充沛，鑄工精湛，存世所見甚少，屬近代機製幣極罕見品種，也是我們所見過唯一的一枚。Auction Info
