Yunnan. Republic 20 Cents Year 38 (1949) MS65 PCGS, KM-Y493, Kann-774, L&M-432. A virtually pristine specimen from this conditionally sensitive series, where the vast majority receive designations consistent with moderate handling, while anything even remotely resembling Gem Mint State is nearly unheard of. Argent luster cascades across satiny expanses, perfectly framing the provincial capital motif. Of the more than 4,000 witnessed between both grading services, the piece at hand ranks at the very peak with just a single other and is most deserving of consideration from an advanced collector.Metal: Silver
