1862 Token G. R. Bowman Confectioner, Fuld-560A-1b, AU55
NGC. Hagerstown, MD. The only Civil War-era merchant in
Hagerstown, Maryland to issue tokens. This Choice AU piece displays
olive and autumn-red overtones atop the brass-gold surfaces. Slight
friction in the fields prevents Mint State classification, but the
preservation is generally pleasing.
