The piece remains brilliant overall, with a few small spots present on both sides. This example displays a sharp strike, with evidence of die rust present at the date. Around the time period when this token was issued, the town experienced an "Indian scare" and a resident named Wiggins spoke to a crowd while standing on a box in front of the Peck & Orvis drugstore.
