Rare Silver Albert Ross Civil War Merchant Token
Albert Ross, Cincinnati, Ohio Store Card. Fuld-OH165FA-2f, High R.7. Silver, plain edge, 20.6 mm, 5.2 gm. Albert Ross was a druggist in Cincinnati, Ohio. This token was issued in various metals, with copper the most common. The current offering is a version in silver, which is rarely seen. Beautifully mirrored fields define this Uncirculated specimen. A few minor hairlines are observed under the visually pleasing gunmetal-gray patination. The finest of Civil War token cabinets will be competing for this special token.Auction Info
