1834 $5 Plain 4 AU50 PCGS. First Head, Breen-6501, McCloskey 3-B, R.2. A plain 4, with the 34 in the date comparatively distant, identifies the obverse. On the reverse, the eagle has no tongue, and there is no motto above its head. Yellow-gold surfaces display traces of luster in the recessed areas. Well defined, save for the hair over the ear. Distributed light marks occur on both sides.(Registry values: P1)
