1834 $5 Plain 4 AU55 PCGS. Second Head, Breen-6502, McCloskey 2-A, R.2. The 4 in the date is triple punched, with a script 8, the eagle has a tongue, and the 5 in the denomination is halfway under the fletchings. Apricot-gold surfaces yield well defined motifs and a few minor abrasions over each side.(Registry values: P1)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# E2KE, PCGS# 8171, GSID# 8856)
