1834 $5 Plain 4 AU58 NGC. Second Head, Breen-6502, McCloskey 2-A, R.2. A honey-gold Classic half eagle with plentiful luster across the margins and central devices. The strike is good, since only the forehead curls and the vertical shield stripes exhibit blending. A faint hair-thin vertical mark near the profile, otherwise uncommonly free from visible abrasions.(Registry values: P1)
