Description

MS62 1834 Plain 4 Classic Five

1834 $5 Plain 4 MS62 NGC. Second Head, Breen-6502, McCloskey 2-B, R.3. Well struck for a Classic half eagle, since only the curl over Liberty's temple and the two leftmost vertical shield stripes lack exceptional detail. Luster percolates across the bagmark-free surfaces, and only a thin mark near the beak bears individual mention.(Registry values: P1)
