Description

Select Uncirculated 1834 Plain 4 Classic Five

1834 Plain 4 MS 63 NGC. Second Head, Small Plain 4, Breen-6502. A very impressive, high grade example of this always-popular first-year issue in the Classic series. Fully struck throughout, the bright, lustrous surfaces show a few minor abrasions and luster grazes, but none are worthy of individual mention. The fields are, not surprisingly, bright and prooflike, and the deep green-gold color of the coin has taken on a peripheral accent of rose patina.
