Description

1835 $5 AU55 ANACS. A well struck example that has pleasing surfaces aside from a faint pinscratch above the eagle's head. The reverse has a trace amount of black debris. The luster is subdued but is extensive. Liberty has horizontal die lines (as struck) below her ear, the result of die clash from the shield on the reverse.
From the Warren H. Burnside Collection.
