1836 $5 AU53 PCGS. Second Head, Large Date, Breen-6509, McCloskey 2-B, R.4. A scarce variety identified by a die break within the upper loop of the first S in STATES and a bold bisecting obverse die crack between the 6 in the date and star 8. Original, partly lustrous, and well defined. The upper reverse field has a few faded marks.(Registry values: P1)
