Well Struck and Attractive
1837 $5 HM-2, High R.3, MS60 NGC. The Tall 1, Block 8
variety. All Classic half eagles are rare in Mint State, and the
1837 is rarer than prior Classic issues in Uncirculated condition.
This is a straw-gold representative that has clean surfaces and a
crisp strike. The fields are semiprooflike, and the legends and
eagle display dazzling luster.Ex: FUN Signature (Heritage, 7/2010), lot 4657.
