Description
PCGS 1838-D XF 45. As the third rarest issue in the Classic series, the '38-D is the subject of consistent demand by collectors. This is a pleasing piece that is well defined in most areas with only slight softness on the hair curls. There are a couple of minor marks in the left obverse field that we mention for the sake of accuracy as they have very little effect on the overall visual appeal of the coin. Trends $3,650 in XF 40, $7,250 in AU 50.
