    Lustrous 1834 Small Head Quarter Eagle

    1834 $2 1/2 Classic--Cleaned--ANACS. Unc Details, Net MS60. Breen-6138, Small Head, R.2. This is the usually seen Small Head variety, representative of approximately half of all 1834 Classic Head quarter eagles. Although the surfaces are lightly hairlines, indicative of the cleaning process, the overall eye appeal is still good. Not fully struck, but sharper than usual for this design. Both sides have bright green-gold color with minor surface marks. The reverse is rotated about 30 degrees clockwise.(Registry values: P1)
