    1834 $2 1/2 MS61 NGC. Small Head, Breen-6138, Variety 1, R.1. This is the most plentiful of the four 1834 No Motto quarter eagle varieties. It features a Small Head with less pronounced curls above LI(BERTY). Bright lemon-gold surfaces exhibit crisp detail and a trace of reflectivity in the fields. A tiny dig near the chin and scattered hairlines are relatively minor. Partial mint luster remains.(Registry values: P1)
